  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Use toasted sesame oil for deeper flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped for garnish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes Adjust based on spice preference.

Gather Ingredients

  • Start by collecting all the necessary ingredients. You’ll need fresh eggs, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, chopped green onions, and chili flakes.

Boil the Eggs

  • Place your fresh eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let them simmer for about 6-7 minutes. After that, remove the eggs and immediately place them in an ice bath to cool.

Prepare the Marinade

  • While the eggs are cooling, mix together the soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, and chili flakes in a bowl.

Peel the Eggs

  • Once the eggs are cool, gently tap them on a hard surface to crack the shell. Carefully peel the eggs under running water.

Marinate the Eggs

  • Place the peeled eggs in a clean jar or container. Pour the marinade over the eggs, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the container and let the eggs marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a more intense flavor.
